Black Corporation Deckard's Dream Mk1 v2 Analog Synthesizer (DIY)

The Deckard’s Dream is Black Corporation’s modern take on the renowned Yamaha CS-80, offering a more compact design and versatility in both desktop and rackmount configurations. Deckard’s Dream is fully MPE compatible, making it an incredibly expressive tool when coupled with a controller, ideal for producing soaring leads and rich, Vangelis-style pads.

The DDRM is polyphonic with 8 voices, each equipped with two VCOs featuring discrete waveshapers and a noise source. These elements can be sculpted using analog low pass and high pass filters with independent cutoff and resonance controls. The filters undergo modulation by the unique multi-segment envelope generators of the DDRM. Each stacked VCO includes a VCA with a dedicated ADSR envelope.

Enable polyphonic aftertouch and MPE for manipulating filter cutoff and amplifier settings. MPE can also be assigned to parameters such as LFO functions and pitch bend, allowing for tons of playability. Store up to 128 presets in three banks, streamlining the patching process.
