Blacet FX/Reverb FX3030 (Time Machine II)
Blacet Research FX/Reverb FX3030
Time Machine II-- Digital evolution of the classic BBD Analog Delay for modular synthesizers!
This is a special module- a rare beast, a classic sports car powered by 'bleeding edge' (for the time it was released) digital signal processing (DSP) technology.
The FX3030 is a dual effect module featuring eight different classic effects each coupled with a reverb effect.
The effects are: echo (delay), echo with repeats (regneration), chorus, flanger, phase shifter, tremolo, vibrato and auto wah (which is a level-dependent filter.)
Four voltage control inputs can be used to select the effect type, two parameters of that effect and a reverb level. This gives an almost unlimited toolbox of effects to explore.
Input and Output Level controls allow matching the module to a wide range of signal levels typical in a modular synthesizer environment. An LED monitors the clipping level.
It is quite expensive relative to other Blacet modules due to the scarcity and cost of the underlying DSP platform and the significant capabilities it adds to a modular system.
