With its intuitive and tactile user interface, the Klee Sequencer is easy to use for both seasoned professionals and beginners. For the features it packs, it comes in a compact form factor, making it highly portable and perfect for on-the-go music-making. Whether you're looking to create complex polyrhythmic patterns or experiment with generative music, the Klee Sequencer is an amazing tool for any electronic musician or sound designer. The Klee Sequencer offers a unique combination of classic and modern features, making it an essential tool for any electronic musician.”

Here are a few supplemental notes for 2024:

  1. Note that the Yellow LEDs in the synthCube kit (P/N 2305-YLW) require 1k drive resistors, not 4.7k. Verify that your kit has 1k ohm parts for R32-R47 and R85-R87 on the Digital PCB.
  2. After removing the protective layer from the from panel, gently scrape away the aluminum flakes that will be present along the front and back edges and inner surfaces of the 16 slider slots using a Q-tip, hard plastic or similar item that will not scrape the panel's finished surface. These flakes could cause premature slider failure if they fell into the sliders.
  3. Note that the Power supply connector PC board no longer is present and does not need to be separated from the Analog/Digital PC board. Also, as a result the (4 pc. ) long-tailed 6-pin receptacles in the kit will need to have their pins cut as they will now be too long.
  4. Several sliders, not just B3, require modification in order to sit flat against the PC board and to avoid shorting to the pins of the board-interconnecting connectors under them. The sliders are A5, A6, B3 and B6. Also, note that the sliders in the synthCube kit required metal, not plastic areas, to be carefully cut away. The metal is hard, so be sure to use heavy-duty wire cutters or the cutters may be damaged. Any metal tabs or plastic that prevent a slider from sitting flat, or which short circuits to a connector pin underneath, must be removed. Of course the connector pins and their solder fillets should be cut as low as possible to PC board first, as described in the build guide.
  5. Calibrate the completed module using the detailed calibration instructions in Scott Stites build document at  https://electro-music.com/forum/phpbb-files/em_klee_build_issue6_136.pdf
  6. If needed for debugging, the schematic is available at https://electro-music.com/forum/phpbb-files/em_klee_pcb_schematics_122_268.pdf
