FuzzDog More Bad Muff
Boutique Big Muff-based box of bad-ass.
Using NOS BC184C transistors apparently gives this extra mojo, so we've sourced exactly those for you.
This circuit covers a lot of tonal ground. It cleans up really well with the sustain and heat dialled back, giving light crunch through to Muffy fuzz. Wind up the heat control to bias Q1 to within an inch of its life and you have full-on fuzz fun with your Muff tone stack shaping the results.
The back end is a FET boost rather than the typical gain recovery stage, giving you 'nuff output.
The kit is supplied with vertical-mount pots which have round shafts, so you'll need set-screw fitting knobs.
