This is the 'Unbuffered' version of the CD4049 Buffer IC. Not to be confused with the 'Buffered' version of the CD4049 Buffer IC.
'Unbuffered' versions generally include suffixes 'UBE' or similar, while 'Buffered' versions are older designs and harder to find, often using the suffix 'B'
