From the manufacturer:
It's just the right shape for a portable synthesizer. Plus, you can use the Banan-a-Synth to create your own keyboard out of real bananas! It's both handy pocket synth for musicans and a STEM device that lets you play with conductivity.
Turn everyday conductive objects into musical notes with the included alligator clips. Just clip things to the touchpad and create a path to ground. Experiment with conductivity and learn what it means to complete a circuit.
We went downtown with the Banan-a-Synth and some real bananas. Everyone really enjoyed playing the banana keyboard! I want the synthesizers we make to inspire the next generation, but turns out it's also a ton of fun for grown ups.
We added a special conductivity sensor to the left of the Banan-a-Synth's keyboard. Each key on the keyboard is either on or off, but the effect sensor to is analog. The more it conducts, the stronger your selected sound effect.
