Matched Transistor Pairs for Synthesizers and Pedals

Matched transistors play an important role in many synthesizer and pedal projects. We are proud to offer a wide range of matched transistors, those matched in factory packages as well as hand-matched using Ray Wilson’s original Music From Outer Space method and equipment! These are the real deal. 2N3904 and 2N3906 matched pairs are to within +/- 2mV.

We also offer a number of matched transistors in CAN and DIP packaging from the manufacturers— new, NOS and/or clean pulls.

2N5457 – A pair of Fairchild 2N5457 J-Fet transistors, with Vgs matched to +/- 10 mV @ Idss = 100 uA, Vds = +10V. Matched J-Fet pairs are often used in Phaser circuits.
