Beers XOR

4x exclusive-OR gates that share 5 inputs.

Any signal on the inputs greater than approx. +1V counts as logic 1 and the outputs are unipolar gates approx. 7V

Super simple circuit using a 4070 IC and a handful of mosfets, no opamps!

Input A is normalled to +ve voltage so with nothing plugged in AꚚB is high.

leaving A unplugged and patching into B turns AꚚB into an inverter. Maybe not that useful but this feature only cost one resistor.

Remove R1 if this annoys you.
